It’s not often you get a chance to play a golf course that is truly exceptional. Paraparaumu Beach however is one of those courses you will remember forever. The host of 12 New Zealand Opens, it is considered by many to be the “spiritual home of New Zealand golf”.
Some of the biggest names in the sport have graced these fairways, from Gary Player and five-time Open Championship winner Peter Thompson through to Corey Pavin, Michael Campbell and in 2002 the worlds number 1 golfer, Tiger Woods.
